Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using Mr.Fin.

Effective Date: October 28, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Mr.Fin app and website. By using Mr.Fin, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mr.Fin. If you are under 18, you may use Mr.Fin only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. By using the app, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

You can use Mr.Fin offline without an account. Some features, such as sync, sharing and premium features, require an online account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. What Mr.Fin Is (and Isn't)

A record-keeping tool. Mr.Fin helps you record and understand your finances. It does not move money, make payments or connect to your bank or any other financial account.
  • Not financial advice. Budgets, analytics and insights are for information only. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • disrupt or interfere with the app or its systems
  • try to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app, its servers or other users' data
  • abuse free usage limits, including by creating multiple accounts

5. Your Content

You own the data you enter. You give Mr.Fin a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, process and display it only to provide the app's features to you.

6. Shared Records

When you share a record with another user, for example in Shared Expenses or Lend & Borrow, that user can see it. Share records only with people involved in them. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you share.

7. AI Features

AI features read invoices and turn your text into transactions. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete, so review every AI-created entry before saving it. We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated results.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Premium features are offered as subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Free trials: if a trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
  • Cancellation: manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
  • Refunds: Apple or Google handle refunds under their own policies.
  • Prices may change. We will notify you in advance as the store rules require.

9. Intellectual Property

The app, including its software, design, text, graphics and logos, belongs to Team Mr.Fin or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

10. Third-Party Services

Mr.Fin relies on third-party services (see the Privacy Policy) and may link to third-party websites. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

11. Disclaimer

Mr.Fin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own backups.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Team Mr.Fin is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or savings, arising from your use of Mr.Fin.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Team Mr.Fin and its team members from any claims, losses or expenses arising from your use of Mr.Fin or your breach of these Terms.

14. Termination and Account Deletion

You may stop using Mr.Fin and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the app. On deletion, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post changes in the app and on this page, with a new effective date. If you continue to use Mr.Fin after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.

17. Apple Users

If you downloaded Mr.Fin from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app.
